We acknowledge the traditional and spiritual connections that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of Queensland  have to their respective country, and the cultural diversity within those communities.

 

Combined Voices was established in 2009 in response to the poor outcomes that continue to be experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in terms of their safety, education and health.

Three things  YOU  can do to get involved:

 

  1. Sign up to the Campaign now! Sign up as an individual. Or better yet, sign up your organisation
  2. Be active - use our easy link to email Queensaland Government ministers and MPs.
  3.  Sign a pledge of personal action (use our postcard!) - this might include a pledge to spread the word and encourage other people and organisations to join the Campaign. 

 

What does Combined Voices aim to do?

Combined Voices is working to stop the over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in the child protection system by 2020.

Combined Voices aims to work in partnership with government, government departments and non government organisations to enable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to take responsibility for solutions to solve the crisis.
